I just want to say thank you for working with me and helping me being straightforward with me and caring about me you don't come off as somebody just trying to do your job you come off as someone caring about each and every one of your patients knowing them all individually in working with them as such

This doctor refused to answer my questions or listen to me when I asked about getting a particular test done on a sample they already took from me. She then wrote in my report that I DEMANDED expensive unnecessary tests, and did not even know the name of the disease I was asking about. She looked it up and wrote in her report that it has a certain mortality rate, but this is only true in certain cases. When I asked during our encounter if she knew what the disease was, she said no. I told her it had been suggested by a doctor or radiologist at another hospital due to a chest CT they took last year. She dismissed this written report as beinfyfrom some person at an outside hospital. She said the doctors would have found it by now. But the brain lesion found on an MRI had been there for four years, according to the review of the old scan. So, like, doctors can't be wrong, or miss something? She then stomped out of the room, dismissing my questions and ideas because I had no medical… degree, and said I could just go to the other hospital if I didn't like it. I called a patient advocate because of her behavior, and my blood pressure shot up to over 180/100 from 117/80 earlier in the day, and I required antianxiety medicine because of our encounter. She never apologized the next day, instead writing an inaccurate and derogatory report on me and adding it to my file. I would not want her as my doctor again, but had little choice at the time. I did not appreciate her attitude, her lack of medical knowledge, or her attempts to discredit and dismiss my questions without proper consideration or concern for my well being. If you can't handle difficult questions, don't be a doctor. Or learn to ask others, or do more research if you don't know the answer, instead of just telling the patient to shut up and go away. Very unhappy, will be filing formal complaint.
