Dr. Seemi Andrabi, MD

I had a pic line. The hospital took it out before I was releaSED. I asked them to leave it in since I was simply going to the rehab clinic they had chosen. They didn't. I would up have to have the culture repeated and start treatment over. Dr. Andrabi was the Dr. that rehab choose. She did an excellent job. Although she was not my regular Dr. I finished the treatment with her. I would highly recommend her. I would use her again if I lived in that area.

She dismissed my complaint of having Lyme disease 4 xs diagnosed since 2000& told her every few Yrs after being treated I get sick again& blood test Showed up positive after being sick for 10mos Again& being treated with antibiotics 2 wks still sick& she said two Weeks is long enough to affectively treat early lymes. Early lymes??? I have had it since 2000 how early is that? She is condescending & after 2wks still no call back Regarding test results! I would NEVER go back to her again& tell everyone I know to Stay away from her. Maybe if she got this horrible disease she would actually have compassion & listen& treat patients! She's a horrible person!

I had my first appointment yesterday and was so well cared for during my visit.Dr had an emergency at the hospital so I had to wait a little longer for my appointment but the staff were very apologetic for the wait.When Dr Andrabi arrived she was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say.I never felt rushed.Her bedside manner was excellent.I was with her for about 30 minutes and she explained everything clearly to me with great care.I would highly recommend this doctor.Her receptionist and nurse are also great to deal with.10 out of 10.

I was referred to an infectious disease specialist by my primary care doc for an infection (Cellulitis). The treatment is a course of IV antibiotics every 12 hours. I was admitted to the hospital for this treatment, when it could have been handled on an outpatient basis. This doctor wanted to keep me in the hospital as long as possible. She ordered a number of tests that were duplicative and unnecessary. (the ER docs were even surprised) I don't have confidence in this doctor.
