Dr. Selen G Tolu, DDS

Dr. Selen Tolu has been a native of the Greenbelt community for over 30 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland College Park and continued to pursue her doctoral degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she graduated with the Dean’s Award of Excellence. Dr. Tolu is committed to continuing education so that she may provide the most current and optimal treatment for her patients. Upon graduation, she completed the prestigious Comprehensive Implantology Continuum at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she received extensive training in implant placement and restoration. She continues to receive implant training at the University of Maryland. She is a certified Invisalign® provider and is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Tolu is certified in laser dentistry which allows for the most minimally invasive treatment options. Dr. Tolu is an active member in the dental community. She is a board member …for the Greater Washington Association of Women Dentists (GWAWD) and is a member for the American Dental Association (ADA). As an Albert Schweitzer fellow, Dr. Tolu is committed to contributing back to her community. She volunteers for Mission of Mercy, Team Smile, Give Kids a Smile Day, House of Ruth, Special Olympics, and many other national and local charity events.
