Selise James, PA-C

Selise James, PA-C is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Physician Assistant Board of the Medical Board of California. She is currently an active member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Selise was born and raised in Orange County and had an interest in dermatology and pursuing a career in the medical field from a young age. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology. She was then accepted into the Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program at the College of Allied Health Sciences at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She graduated and became board certified in 2010.

Selise is committed to focusing on patient centered care, with an emphasis on treating dermatologic conditions …along with monitoring and treating skin for sun damage and skin cancers. She also has extensive experience in aesthetic laser treatments and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident with their skin's appearance.

Selise's interests include spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, stand up paddle boarding and yoga.
