Dr. Winner has gone out of her way to treat my two children for the last several years. Dr. winner is very approachable and my children like her as much as you can expect two young children to like their doctor. Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Winner.

Dont go in there with a fussy baby who clearly has a ear infection.She will think you are beating you child. I would not suggest her to anybody at all.

Very disapointed. My daughter had an ear infrction she was unable to diagnose it. She has a terrible bedside manor. Her staff violates HIPPA. Dr. Winn ...

Dr. Winner is a sweet lady and her staff is thorough. However I had numerous occasions where I left a message for the doctor about a side effect of medication and didn't hear back for a full 7 days. Then when asking for refills on my sons medication, which I have to call and get each month, it takes a full week just for them to write the refill. My son was on a medication that you can not just stop taking. We had to stop cold on it because it takes so long to get refills from doctor. Very dangerous!

Dr. Winner has no problem diagnosing a problem, but doesn't believe in prescribing medication to fix the ailment. Some people may be happy with the simplest approach to letting the body heal itself, but if this is the case, she should post this protocol. My son suffered with repeated ear infections and Dr. Winner would not prescribe antibiotics nor would she back up my decision to put tubes in his ears. I switched doctors, got my son the tubes and he is a happy and healthy toddler now.

On the first visit, I waited with my toddler twins over 2 hours just to be seen. Imagine trying to deal with 2 toddlers for that long in a doctor's office (they were sleepy and hungry, and had to get a full round of shots at the end of a very long wait).My other gripe is this: Took my daughter for an ear infection (she gets these repeatedly). She had high temps and vomiting - which is what always happens with her when the ear infection goes on too long. Dr. Winner said while there was fluid on the ears, she must've had a virus, and to 'wait and see.' After two weeks, my daughter had to go to the Emergency Room affiliated with Springhurst Pediatrics, where the on-call physician stated my daughter had a severe ear infection. She was put on amoxicillin and her symptoms improved drastically in 3 days. Unfortunately, on the third morning, my daughter knocked over her medication while I was tyring to give it to her, and it all spilled out. Dr. Winner wouldn't authorize a refill of… the amoxicillin because my daughter didn't have a fever (of course she wouldn't have a fever after several days of treatment on the amoxicillin). She was prescribed a 10 day course of antibiotics that Dr. Winner could CLEARLY see she was prescribed in the computer, but she absolutely refused to refill it after my daughter had only been on it for 3 days. It wasn't as if I was requesting a narcotic -- my child clearly was improving on the amoxicillin.In the end, I had to take my daughter back to the ER just to get a refill. I walked in and out of there in less than 4 minutes with a new prescription, and they didn't charge me to be seen or anything. The staff at the ER was also shocked by the way I was treated by Dr. Winner's office. I think it was pretty pathetic on Dr. Winner's part not to trust me, the mother, as well as the attending pediatrician who administered her the antibiotics in the first place. WILL NOT EVER, EVER go back or recommend. Only posting this because I PROMISED the office of Dr. WINNER I would post a negative review. Overall, I never felt Dr. Winner took the input of the parent into consideration - even before this incident. I am angry I allowed her to let my child suffer for two weeks before getting the care she deserved and needed.Very Respectfully,Frustrated and in need of a new Pediatrician....
