Dr. Selvakumar Chockalingam, MD

This doctor seemed like a God send when he performed a critical emergency procedure on my husbands heart. At the time, we didn’t have insurance, but did have unity health care assistance which covered the hospital stay. Before our first follow up with this doctor his wife/ secretary called to tell us we owed over $1000 for Chockalingam’ s services. We told her that we couldn’t pay for that and she continued to tell us that we needed to pay her. When we come into the office she began the harassment again and wouldn’t even check us in. We had a follow up appointment and the harassment commenced. We called to have a check up one year later and she said you haven’t paid me so you can’t be seen even though we told her we had insurance. She continued to remind us of an outstanding balance that they had already sent to collections. This office doesn’t care about people-just money. The staff is highly unprofessional and if I could do more harm to their reputation I would!

Dr Kumar is by far the best cardiologist I have ever been to. He never rushes his patients and will take all the time needed to explain any questions they may have. He also has the best office staff which is important. I would highly recommend Dr Chockalingam and staff.

He is an awesome Doctor he really cares about his patients

The wait is extremely long. Scheduled at a certain time, expect to be called in two hours later. Half an hour is understandable but two hours of waiting to be seen is very frustrating. The staffs are nice, don’t get me wrong.

I feel very well cared for by Dr. Chockalingam. He is thorough and puts me at ease when performing tests. He is very easy to talk to!

He is easy to talk with and take the time to explain both the diagnosis and potenial treatment option. He is easy going, friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. Of course he is also a gifted cardiologist.

This man is a real blessing to us! He is very smart, qualified, and to top it off, a great personality!

I have had several cardiologists over the years, but Dr. Chockalingam is by far the best one I ever had. He takes whatever time is needed to explain any questions a patient may have. He also does not rush patients out of the office just to get as many in as he can. The most wonderful thing about him is that he never talks down to you, he treats you with utmost respect. I find these qualifications to be very rare in a doctor, especially a specialist. He is also a very good diagnostician. I would highly recommend him to my one needing a good cardiologist. He lso has a very friendly and helpful staff.
