Dr. Bayan was my third consultation regarding my paralyzed vocal chord. She has a great personality, gave me a very thorough examination and spent lots of time explaining her findings. It was fantastic that she was able to provide me with a video of my vocal chords in action to visually explain to me her findings. She suggested we start with speech therapy as my chords met nicely and she knew how I wanted to avoid surgery if possible. She feels strongly that I can regain my normal voice with speech therapy alone. She only wants to try other options if this doesn't work. The next option would be a temporary shot and if we have success with that we can proceed with a permanent option. I am crossing my fingers that the speech therapy works and option b and c aren't necessary. No other doctor would even consider giving me any other option than surgery. Five stars for Dr. Bayan!
