Semyon Gurgov, MD

I have a serious urologic condition that is possibly life threatening. I was introduced to Dr. Semyon Gurgov one year ago. I knew right away that I was in good hands. Competent, sympathetic, patient, friendly and respected by my other doctors are some of his qualities.

I am very glad that I chose Dr. Gurgov from the several names my primary care doctor recommended when I needed a urologist. He is low-key and very patient. I felt comfortable with him immediately. He listens, examines, analyzes the situation and explains thing in language I can understand...everything you would want in a doctor.

I switched to Dr G after 5 yrs of failed attempts with my previous Urologist to prevent more stones from forming. When I met Dr G, I was scared that I was in for more surgeries and no education. I was so wrong. He listened to me, and was very companionate towards me over my previous experience with treatment. It has been a long and frustrating 5 yrs. He gave me a 48hr urine collection test, and that has changed everything. I’m finally on track to prevention! He did a lithotripsy on my 10mm stone and no stent and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! Thank you Dr G. For listening to me, and helping me, and being so compassionate. Truly a blessing.

I have been seeing Dr. Gurgov for a few years now for a chronic kidney stone problem. Dr. Gurgov has always treated me as a friend and not just a patient. He is quite competent and has a great "bedside manner." I am lucky and happy to be his patient.

Dr. Gurgov is a wonderful urologist. He listens, is easy to talk to, and has helps tremendously through his style of communication, evaluation and treatment. Dr. Gurgov is truly a "go to" urologist.
