Dr Sepideh Mehravaran, MD

Dr. Mehravaran received her MD degree at Iran University of Medical Sciences - School of Medicine, Tehran. She completed a one-year (PGY-1) Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency at Vidant Medical Center, East Carolina University, in Greeneville, North Carolina and went on to finish her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Mehravaran completed a Breast Pathology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. She joins us from McMaster University, Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, where she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomic Pathology.Dr. Mehravaran's clinical focus is breast pathology, especially invasive ductal carcinoma and fibroepithelial lesions. Her research focuses on identifying and studying breast cancer biomarkers for diagnostic, prognostic, predictive, and targeted therapy purposes.
