they will never answer, forget about your paper work or reports they wont have it or wont do it. much of the time they charge more than insurance copayment and it is not record or given back the difference. Very bad staff

Their phone is never answered and messages are not returned. The way they treated me over the phone was unimaginable for a mental health facility. All I needed was a refill, I was 3 days on the phone trying to contact them, leaving messages not once did they return my calls. It’s medication I need. A doctor’s office should have an experienced, professional and caring staff; they were not. I felt like they were playing a game with me

Couldn't get him by phone-just got answering machine-left messages for 2 weeks - never returned - so we drove in 20 miles. I tried to talk to staff and tell them our pharmacist never got the prescriptions in over 2 weeks, and asked them to refax the prescriptions. I was looked down upon, excoriated, and told to leave, because I didn't have an appointment. I told them I was unable to reach them by phone. Stephen is the office Manager. They closed the window glass on me. I left fuming!!!!

On one sole visit this Dr. discharged my adult daughter from JFK North even though she had only been transported the night before from JFK Main and was not stable enough to be discharged. Additionally on the discharge papers a script for anxiety was listed, however the script was not furnished upon discharge. When we noticed the missing script administration from the hospital contacted him and he said the med was not necessary even though it was listed as a required med to be taken twice a day and was necessary. Administration asked him to call me and yet not only did he not call me, but he refused to talk to me when I called his office!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! HE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND IS UNETHICAL!!

Dr Thys staff not only did not return my phone call after a missed appointment with not confirmation on their part but when I finally contacted them after 5 days without my medication right after the death of my 1 1/2 year old's father they would not fill my prescription and told me that it was against the law. I researched this and I could not find any such law, and I find it very hard to believe. I believe the nurse there is very unhelpful and does not really care about the patients that the doctor and his staff should be serving in a more empathetic manner.

THIS IS THE WORSE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN HE NEVER IF HARDLY RETURNS CALLS TO YOU HE HAS TREATED MY WIFE FOR DEMENTIA RELEASES HER ONLY AFTER A FEW DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL IF IT WAS UP TO ME HE WOULD BE PRACTICING VET MEDICINE IN JAPAN

You will wait a minimum of an hour after your scheduled appointment to finally see Dr. Thys. This has been a consistent occurrence. The staff is not very helpful and reacts to patients as if they're annoyed by them. As staff for a medical office, they should be trained on how to schedule patients appointments accordingly. As in the medical field, working in a psychiatrist office, you should be fully aware that these patients suffer from a range of mental illnesses. They need to be attentive of the patients and at least inform them that the doctor is running behind. Once in with the doctor, personally, I have spent will spent 10min to 20min with him. Then you reschedule a follow up appointment. The staff is very much unorganized.

Dr. Thyss is a professional. He cares about his patients. He doesn't rush you. Spends as much time as he can with you, as he has as very busy practice. He was referred to me by HUMANA. I wouldn't ever think of ever seeing a different physicial to meet my medical needs. Thank you Dr. T. Happy vacation. I miss seeing you.

Dr. Thys seems to be very knowledgeable. I am impressed that he is a "real" MD in psychiatry, AND pediatrics! He is very involved with the Haitian community, which is nice, except if u dont happen to be of that particular ethnicity. I saw him for many years until I couldn't afford it anymore. I think he's great! Apparently, hes very much in demand, and i sometimes wondered if maybe he was becoming overwhelmed!

He listens to you he knows what he's doing and what he is prescribing you wonderful doctor he's also very fertile and team Spanish very. He definitely looks like he knows what he's doing wonderful doctor by far the best I have ever been. A very humanitarian guy as well. The staff is kind of I do not want to say not good but I'm going to say not the best. Except for a nice lady that works at the first window very nice the rest when you called on the phone or the guy that works in there they're just awful.
