Dr. Sergei Vladimir Shirman

Dr. Shirman was my dentist in Ohio and I certainly do miss him. Its been hard to find a replacement for the care he provided: He is a very honest, personable doctor, and will tell you the truth. If he recommended work be done, he and I would discuss it honestly; I of course would want to delay and he would tell me if it could be delayed or if it should be done soon. He was always honest with me and never recommended work be done via scare tactics. On a personal level, he had this incredible sense of humor that always made me look forward to going to the dentist.

I'm not an easy patient. I can be cranky, and I ask a lot of questions. Fact is I don't trust a lot of people, including doctors and dentists. When I first moved here I looked to find a dentist I actually liked and went through several before I found Dr. Shirman. From the outset, he impressed me with his knowledge and his candor. He's a straight talker who didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary procedures. I decided he was a keeper, and you will too if you give him a chance.
