Dr. Sergey Sergeyevich Dzugan, MD

Dr Dzugan recently operated on me for a torn meniscus. He was very informative and professional and took great care of my surgical needs. He has always answered all questions and was patient and informative pre and post op. If I needed anything his nurse was very prompt at answering my msgs she was very helpful and kind.

I have had a horrible experience with this doctor. I fractured my ankle and had rods and surgery. I still can't walk, my foot swells 3 times it normal size, and I have spasms from the knee down everyday. This cannot be normal. I was also complaining after the fall my hip hurts. He did nothing for 5 months to address this and the therapist would even allow me to walk without the chair behind me and him next to me. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone period and I intend to call my insurance company and complain and find another doctor to address the MRI I will be getting soon.

He gives no instructions or timeline for anything including after surgery. I will definitely not see him once this boot comes off my leg whenever that will be due to the lack of information. After rods in ankle and then surgery told me to take tylenol for my pain which left me crying, Stressed, fatigued, and utterly disgusted by his treatment.

I am a Nurse, and was there with my Mother. His Medical Assistant was very rude, not friendly nor professional at all. Dr. Dzugan did not even examine my mother, physically. He did not want to touch her. Very Hesitant. Was very displeased with the services. He did not want her as a patient, and referred her out to another orthopedic Doctor. Wasted visit. I work for a Dr.'s office, and always refer patients to Him. But after experiencing this, I will Never refer another patient to him.

Dr. Dzugan was seeing my husband, who has a torn miniscus. My husband is 50 years old and was told that he was "too old" to have surgery to repair this. He said he could do surgery but he recommend that my husband learned to live with it. I've never heard of such a thing. Wasted time and money. Either you can fix it or not. Age has nothing to do with it. We've gotten two more opinions and they were the same - surgery!
