Did surgery on me, I was walking around same day with little discomfort. He is kind and friendly. Great doctor.

I went to see Dr. Kasturi as an endometriosis specialist after running out of options from my OBGYN. The website looked and sounded great and I was excited to see what he had to say. However, the appointment was more than disappointing. He was quite rude about not having any options for me except surgery, which he won't do because I am 22 (understandable but could have been said in a MUCH kinder way). I explained that I have no desire, nor have I ever had a desire, to have biological children and my long-term partner and I both want to adopt for multiple reasons (including very high risks for several things). He went on to say that he didn't want to risk me missing out on what "might be my only opportunity to have a *normal* family. To get married and have children of my own." I found this to be extremely rude to everyone who has ever struggled with fertility or simply decided to adopt- those families are, too, normal families and I was quite offended that he basically stated… otherwise. I also struggle with pelvic exams due to anxiety and expressed my concerns and the need for him to go slow. He did not go slow and did not understand that I needed him to be gentle and really take his time. Even when I needed a break, it was only a few seconds. It really was not a good overall experience with him and I felt very belittle throughout the appointment.

Dr Kasturi has amazing Laparoscopic surgical skills in the repair and re-construction of the female pelvic anatomy and especially so in my complicated Pelvic Organ Prolapse surgery. I could not have found a better surgeon in the USA. I recommend Dr Kasturi to any woman with pelvic organ prolapse issues! Thank you Dr Kasturi for using all your amazing surgical skills during my surgery.
