Dr Capello doesn’t listen to his patients wants,needs, or concerns of his patients. Doesn’t return anything home calls and from his patients. His office staff is just as bad. Please do your research when choosing your Urologist. Also not very receptive of patient advocate.

If there's a possibility that you might be a few minutes late, don't bother with this Dr. I got caught in equine crossings, (known only to Saratoga). I gave a courtesy call to let them know the situation. Receptionist said, he'll likely reschedule you. She then asked the Dr directly, and came back and said "He has a strict policy, your appt is no longer valid". Really? 13 minutes late. Dr. was aware I had a potentially serious medical condition, as I was reffered by my Primary Dr. Utterly disgusted and disappointed. I'm pretty sure I have waited more than 13 minutes, in many a Dr. Office. Dr. Capello talks to you like a person not a patient. He explains the procedure he will be doing and what exactly he is looking for in layman’s terms that you can easily understand. Highly highly recommend him!

I had to wait 2 months for an in office procedure that routinely takes 5-10 mins. to complete. I was told this was due to short staffing, summer vacations & the normal slots used for these procedures were being used for new patient appointments. Here’s a novel thought- if your short staffed maybe stop taking new patients until your fully staffed. Nope don’t want to lose $$$$$. Finally have my appointment, my first time meeting this dr., I was anxious & I had some questions. He was clearly put out by my questions & gave me the “I’m a doctor “ how dare you questions me attitude. He started the procedure & wasn’t able to insert a tube easily. He quickly said we won’t be able to do this today in the office- you’ll need to reschedule & have it done in the hospital under anesthesia. I had more questions. He had even more attitude & one foot out the door as he was self proclaimed “very busy”. I left the office very upset, went to my car & started bawling. I have chronic medical… conditions & see many doctors. This experience & his attitude & treatment towards me ranks up as one of the worst ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I started seeing Dr. Capello when my GP noticed that my PSA was elevated. After monitoring my condition for many years, he eventually concluded that I did have prostate cancer. He took time (a LOT of time) to explain the condition, and also describe the treatment choices. He inspired confidence in him as physician who was primarily focus was my health and wellbeing. I strongly recommend him.

nothing he told me before prostrate removal ended up being true. Leak constantly, have to change pads 5 times a day
