Dr. Seth H Lashkowitz, MD

Approximately 3 1/2 weeks ago my husband cut his thumb and needed stitches. Due to the time of day we drove to Southdale Fairview emergency. Dr Lashkowitz was the attending physician on this particular night. Once in the room, the doctor listened to my husbands heart(normal procedure) and indicated he had a heart murmur and were we aware of this. We were not, he also indicated it sounded like a valve was working incorrectly and we should not overlook this and to follow up with our regular doctor. To make a long story short, his Mitral valve is not functioning properly and will require surgery to repair it. Thank you Dr. Lashkowitz. Without your knowledge we would have not known this and his life would have been cut short.

Dr. Lashkowitz was competent, kind, compassionate, and thorough. His whole team turned what had been a frightening experience into a comfortable one. I came in feeling scared and left feeling a sense of hopefulness and calm.
