He was straight forward, answered all of my (many) questions. After surgery I had an issue with my physical therapy and he called personally to straighten it out.His PA seemed to be just as knowledgeable and equally helpful.

I had two knee replacements by Dr. Leopold. The doctor, staff at the hospital and everyone was so kind. I would recommend Dr. Leopold to anyone that needs orthopedic care. His expertise made my TKR very easy. Couldn't say enough good things about him and the hospital. So glad I decided to have him do the surgery.

I had a total knee replacement by Dr. Leopold. He is likeable, interested in the patient as an individual, highly skilled, and made the experience as easy as possible. I highly recommend him. he does not have the overwhelming ego of most orthopedic surgeons, instead, he interacts with the patient on a human level.

Explained everything well, and performed the surgery as explained.I was walking without a walker or cane within 6 days.I am now six months into the recovery period and am walking my dog and walking the golf course without pain or discomfort, the two objectives I had for this proceedure.I cannot recommend his bedside manner any other than excellent

Dr. Leopold told me my condition was basically hopeless and probably inoperable. He told me to get a cane. He said my situation was very serious but offered no solution. I went to another orthopedic surgeon who performed the surgery and today I am doing great. The other surgeon seemed very surprised at Leopold's assessment. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

... i've had both hips replaced by Dr Leopold and his team -- right hip in May 2005, left hip in Dec 2009...... each time, i was on my feet less than 24 hours after surgery...... each time, my rebuilt joint worked wonderfully, and i reached my benchmark goal of one mile with less recovery time than was predicted...... i wish i had more of his business cards, so i could hand them out to those in need of hip or knee surgery... i heartily -- and happily -- recommend him and his team!
