Dr. Seth William Meskin, MD

Inadequately informed me about the long term nature of my dry eye disease. Had to rely on online FB Dry Eye Patient group to learn.

Dr Meskin was described as the dry eye "guru" in Fairfield County by a referring opthalmologist. I was eager to hear his advice, as a person with distressing eye pain. When he instructed his office staff person to abruptly cancel the consultation, I felt terrible. Anyone with a serious disease deserves quality care - this man simply did not have the interest in offering his time and knowledge to me. Is patient education not worth his time? I explained to the office person that I needed to see Dr Meskin for guidance on managing my illness -- he refused. I hope that no other patient is treated in the same cruel manner. MCasey RN, MS

This is a physician who made me feel that he could not have cared less about my symptoms. I am an RN, though Dr. Meskin was not aware of that.

Dr. Meskin recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The results were excellent. Dr. Meskin is an excellent surgeon and doctor. He is very thorough and patient, answering all questions and putting his patients at ease. The team at Eye Physicians and Surgeons, from Dr. Meskin's assistant Jen to the office staff and very professional and personable. I would highly recommend them for any eye need you may have.

Dr. Meskin is very precise and knowledgeable at what he does. He is very patient, compassionate and explanatory of the cataract procedure. He answers all questions and takes his time explaining things to the patient. I had 2 cataracts removed by him and the lenses replaced. It is amazing what he has done for me and how I can see. I only have to wear glasses for distance and watching television. I could just about see the computer before I had surgery and was blind as a bat without my glasses before. I am so grateful to him for how he has helped me. You are in good hands with Dr. Meskin.

I am a 78 year old , who had a lazy eye, a cataract, and a stigmatism, with very little eyesight in my right eye. DR MESKIN did surgery and put in a toric lense less than a week ago and my visit today was absolutely amazing!!! I could see perfect. I never encountered any pain after surgery. I can’t thank him enough for giving me my eyesight back. Dr Meskin is an amazing knowledgeable perfectionist . He listens ,and answers all your questions,and puts your mind at ease. An A+++ experience with Dr Meskin. He performed cataract surgery on both eyes with miraculous results. No complications following surgery. He carefully explained entire procedure as well as excellent post surgery followup. He also has a very caring staff working with him. Dr Meskin was highly recommended to me and I would absolutely concur.

I had corneal and cataract surgery done by Dr. Meskin and he is BRILLIANT! He not only is a great, skillful surgeon, he is very thorough and caring about his patients. His staff, every one, are attentive and wonderful to work with. I cannot praise Dr. Meskin and his staff enough for their attention to patients and, in my opinion, all deserve five stars! I was very nervous about having this surgery because it was more difficult than usual. Dr. Meskin was very patient with me. I was completely at ease from the minute I met him. He explained the surgery in detail and never rushed through my appointment. After surgery he was just as caring and again explained the process of healing that was taking place. I can not stress enough what a wonderful doctor he is and how highly I recommend him. Dr. Meskin is Mr. Rogers in a white coat, without a sweater!! This is a total compliment!!! He is soft spoken and a very calming presence. I would give him 10 stars!! He is that good!!!
