Dr. Seth Marc Pransky, MD

San Diego, Rady Children's Hospital in 2006: I was 17-years-old. Pransky had been my brother's ENT for most of his life, so when I needed my tonsils out, I was comfortable with the operation. In my pre-op consultation there was only him, myself, and a single male med student. Pransky was aggressively flirtatious while I sat there in just a paper gown. He told me that after the operation I won't be able to eat, but that would probably be a good thing in my case, then he laughed. I was only 17, overweight, and had no idea he was abusing his power of authority. I didn't understand why I felt so gross from this interaction, and it took a long time to understand he was being completely inappropriate with me. The statute of limitations does not allow me to file an official complaint with the medical board. Any parents considering him need to be present with their child always. It's been 15 years, but that interaction in the small consultation room is burned into my memory. He's gross.

Dr. Pransky treated my daughter in 1987, eventually performing a surgery to remove polyps inside her nasal cavity that prevented her from recovering from repeated nasal infections. She was so tiny, and he treated her with the most affection and excellent care. I’m just sorry it has taken me these many years to say something publicly, but I think he knows how much I care for him, and how much I appreciated his concern for my youngest when she was so vulnerable. Great job, Doctor, and thank you so much.

My daughter had a Tongue Tie and I had hard time breast feeding her. We followed our Doctor recommendation and visited Dr. Pransky , he explained us why he should clips it and how is the process. He made us feel comfortable. He has a self confidence that made us feel confident too. After he clipped my daughters tongue Tie , our life has changed. My husband is concern with unnecessary operations but even my husband told me he is the best Doctor ever. Dr. Pransky is a great dr and he has business ethic that is the most important. Thank you Dr. Pransky.

Dr Pransky has treated all 4 of my kids over the last 20-ish years. Started taking them there after watching him operate at Rady Children's. I could tell he was smart, careful and professional. And he has always upheld that first impression. Never regretted trusting him and his office with my children.

Unbelievably professional, kind, caring, reassuring, confident, and trustworthy. He is a man of his word, and he took perfect care in the treatment and diagnosis of my four-month old. I trust him beyond measure, and will continue treatment with him for my daughter's condition. He is a blessing!

When I brought my 16 month old twins in to see Dr. Pransky, he suggested that they both get tubes in their ears because of recurring ear infections. I was glad that he did, because I felt that they needed them. He wanted to schedule them right away - again, I was glad because he found congenital choleastomas in both of the girls ears. One wasn't as big of a deal and he fixed it during the tube insertion, the other twin's condition was more complicated and needed another, more in depth surgery. Dr. Pransky expedited the follow-up surgery, took the time to talk to me in depth about it and then to follow up with a phone call at night - after an exhausting day for him. He truly went above and beyond and also successfully treated both of my daughters.His bedside manner was great - he was patient and empathetic to our situation.

Dr. Pransky is an excellent Dr. He treated me when I was a child and is now treating my son. He has a great bedside manner and is awesome with children. He explains things very thoroughly and gives you many options to choose from. I would definetley recommend this dr.
