Dr. Seth Roger Quam, DO

Nice enough guy, but he basically didn't care about my concerns. Very reluctant to treat anything as serious since I am fairly healthy and my blood work looked good. He pretty much had a "quit whining and man up" attitude, which would be great if that was appropriate for the situation. Reluctant to prescribe topical steroids for eczema because he was worried about overuse/abuse of them (what??). Even though I tried like crazy with consistent moisturizing, I later had to get an oral steroid prescribed by a different doc because Quam didn't give me a script and the rash spread all over my trunk. Also reluctant to offer physical therapy script or go over surgical options/recommendations for my messed up shoulder. He's a touch too confident in his knowledge for someone who isn't a surgeon. I've stayed with him a while since he's nice and friendly, but I've had it at this point and I have to make a switch. Sorry, doc!

Dr. Quam cares about his the people he sees. He’s not one to just write you a script and get you out the door. He takes the time to talk to you, and make sure you understand what’s going on with your body. He also provides friendly advice about how you might be able to take preventative action in the future. Best doctor I’ve ever been to.

Been going for several years, no issues, very friendly and caring. But when I'm charged $220 for a 5 minute procedure I could have done at home with an over the counter product, that's where I draw the line.

Very nice and caring doctor but that's the problem. Way over zealous .
