I was "given" heel inserts then charged $74 for what looked like $5 worth of foam heel inserts.

When I visited Dr. Seth a couple of months ago for a routine foot exam (removal of callouses) I paid my 40 copay for the Dr. visit and another 15 for trimming my toenails. I am diabetic and need to be careful. During the exam, he said he would like some x-rays. We were in the exam room , so he escorted me down the hall to x-ray and then back to his exam room. When we left we were told we owed 40 for another office visit..THAT is not RIGHT...I PAID for my office visit...No more Colonial Orthopedics for me...I FIRED them...

I see Dr. Schweitzer for callusies on both of my feet. I am also diabetic. I have both Medicare and Humana. When I go naturally I have a co-payment that I always pay. Last month I went because of the callusies and paid the co-pay of 55 for an office visit. During the visit he told me that he needed to xray my feet to see if surgery was necessary. I went straight from his office, down the hall to their x ray room, after the x rays were brought to his office in just a few minutes, he came in said I didn't need surgery and to see him every three months. Then they charged me another 55 for an office visit. No wonder the tri-cities has so many Drs. I also am a disabled veteran and have been treated by the VA...another story. Needless to say I cancelled my Dec 6 app't with Dr. Schweitzer and all future appt's,,,,
