Dr. Seth Charles Wachsman, MD

On the phone and in person. Staff is impatient and cold. Thought I would put up with that because the doctor came recommended to me. After meeting the doctor, it was my first and last time with him. No wonder staff is the way they are. They learned it from the doctor(s).

During the last several months, he has preformed several out patient procedures that has improved her life quality by keeping her pain at minimum. Prior, she was bed bound for months. Dr Wachsman truly listens to the patient, evaluates each person to meet every need and concern for the individual. You are not just a number at his office. His front and back office personnel go above and beyond for the patients as well. He has several office locations, including a state of the art out patient surgical center. You will not find a better physician for your loved ones, or self. "

I worked as a critical care nurse (RN III) in a major metropolitan hospital for over 30 years, a hospital that was listed in the top 25 hospitals of the US. I know the good physicians from the bad ones. I can assure you that Dr. Wachsman is the real deal. He is knowledgeable and experienced. For the past two years I have had great difficulty ambulating and spent more than 12 hours a day sitting on a heating pad. I had numerous spinal blocks, but nothing helped. Dr. Wachsman was able to open the bony passages that were impinging on the nerves, relieving the encompassing pain in my lower back and legs, a procedure that no other doctor even suggested. Now, I walk over a mile around the park with only minor discomfort. I am thoroughly confused about a review I saw that attacked Dr. Wachsman for posting that he does not carry malpractice insurance. Was this person looking for a pain management physician or just someone to sue? Many successful long-standing, medical… practices choose self-funded liability. What does this have to do with the medical expertise of the doctor or the medical facility? I also question why vitals.com would allow such a posting, as it has nothing to do with the physician's medical competence. Not only did they allow this spurious comments, but allowed it to be posted twice…. probably by a new and competing facility in the area.

Lets cut to the chase! I am the unfortunate recipient of a medical condition often referred to as the "suicide disease." I saw numerous neurologists, oral surgeons, internist, ENT, and other physicians, but none of them had a viable solution to offer. My general practitioner was simply throwing medication at it. The pain occupies the center of your focus, undermining your ability to even think. It was only Dr. Wachsman who offered me hope. It was only Dr. Wachsman who fought for me. Through the administration of sphenopalatine blocks, pulsed radiofrequency, and the trial of different medication regimes, He was able to beat down the pain to an tolerable level. Given my experiences with Dr. Wachsman, I have to question the motives and petty behavior behind any poor reviews I have seen on this site.

NO...Find another physician...There is a sign at the front desk stating, Dr. Wachsman DOES NOT carry MALPRACTICE INSURANCE. A reason for this may be his quick to judge without performing diagnostic testing. Another reason may be for his Management staff lack of empathy for patient care. Management should not be dealing with patients. Dr. Wachsman and staff are in desperate need of retraining...DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr Wachsman is the best Dr I have ever been too, he has helped me tremendously and for the first time in 30 years I’m able to sleep. So thankful for him.

Dr. Wachsman is the first doctor in 3 years that finally pinpointed what my problem was, where my pain was coming from. He was able to do this and cure it!! I was agitated, fed up and ready to give up. I'm so happy I took one more shot on a different doctor. Thank you Dr. Wachsman for keeping it real and doing your job like a pro! I owe this man everything. He still keeps up to date with me through appointments and it has become so casual. I actually enjoy going to my visits at his office. Any time I do injections he always follows up with me. I appreciate this man and am so happy I gave a doctor one last shot because he has changed my life.

I've had 4 surgeries for my back but my pain never went away. With Dr. Wachsmans first attempt at his procedure, the pain was immediately gone and I am still amazed. It was way less of a recovery time than surgery and didn't even leave a scar. The day after my surgery I was able to bend down to grab things and rolling over the next morning I did without even thinking about it. Dr. Wachsman compared it to the cheeseburger test and he definitely helped me pass with flying colors.

Very detailed. Obvious passion for the field and patients. I use a translator because my english is not good. Dr. W still looks at me and talks to me despite our use of a translator. I appreciate it much, very important. Great caring doc. I recommend to all.
