Dr. Seth David Weissman, MD

I have had the privilege of being Dr. Weissman’s patient for about twenty years now. Although we are blessed with a number of good doctors in our area because of Stanford, Dr. Weissman stands above the crowd. He is knowledgable and experienced in many areas but his best feature, in my opinion is that he really listens. His approach feels as if he is a partner in your health care instead of a busy doctor who justs wants to get on with it. He is kind, caring and good natured. He always takes the time to expain all sides of your problem. When I leave his office I always feel satisfied that all my concerns were addressed. I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere.

I have also talked to him on the phone and he was very nice, took plenty of time listening to what I had to say and coming up with a plan on what I should do or tests that should be done. He never rushes me, like so many other Dr.'s I have seen in the past. He is also very prompt when I call to have my triplicate prescriptions filled out for me to pick up. I have never had to wait for them. They were written and in a sealed envelope with my name on the front, waiting at Kate's desk. I think he is a great doctor. The reason I mentioned the triplicate prescriptions is because he took that job over for me when the doctor who use to fill them retired several years ago. The prescriptions are for a chronic orthopedic problem which is not Dr. Weissman's field but he knows plenty about it in my opinion., He has been so kind to fill these for me because I would be lost as to how to get them filled. He also fills another prescription for me that another Dr. who retired asked him if he would… take over and fill it for me. He has all the records for these problems and fully understands what is wrong with my back. I found this so nice of him to do when he is a busy doctor who takes the time to write out these scripts every month. It is every month because of my insurance. More money for the insurance company! I will not get into the area of insurance!!! I recommend Dr. Weissman to anyone who needs a caring , very intelligent Dr. who knows what he is doing. He even diagnosed a knee problem that needed surgery before I had an MRI and he was right on to exactly what was wrong with my knee. Way to go Dr. Weissman! He hit that one right out of the ball park. I was amazed. Thank you so much for everything.
