Dr. Seth Patrick Womack, MD

I was taken by ambulance to UT Health on Beckham due to having a seizure. I was incoherent in the ambulance and for a while when I got to the ER. I do not remember Ever seeing Seth Womack. I was told I had seen him but I don't remember. When I was finally coherent, the nurses and other staff were better than Seth Womack they at least paid attention to me. After tests were run the "Dr." Didn't even bother coming in to explain the results, I was informed he REFUSED to come even acknowledge my presence. I was discharged, given my paperwork and allowed to walk out on my own. No wheelchair, no accompanying staff, no nothing. Now mind you I had been brought in by ambulance due to having a seizure. I'm just glad I didn't have another seizure on my way out. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS HOSPITAL AS LONG AS "DR." SETH WOMACK IS EMPLOYEED HERE.

A true humanitarian that cares and has the talent to save lives; just like he did for me. I was a cardiac arrest and Dr. Womack would not give up trying to save me when the other doctors in the room said more effort was futile. When Dr. Womack restarted my heart, I was out of the hospital in four days, good as new.

I saw Dr Womack at ETMC Tyler in the ER. He was rude and told me that draining a seroma I have wouldn't do any good as it would come back. I asked what to do about the pain it's causing and he told me to go to ETMC.org and look up a pain management Dr. I found him to be condescending and uncaring to resolve my issue.

Horrible my mom was in the ER for over 8 hours in severe pain and she only saw him twice. First time he came in yarning didn't apologized for that. second time came in the room for 10 seconds. His attitude is horrible very rude and when I asked to explain to me what was going on with my mom he gave me a real shot unpleasant answer .

I was hemorrhaging for almost two weeks with my menstruation period, barley got my gown on he came in said he can give me some pills if I verbally say yes to accept (hormone) that can cause blood clots in my lung and legs. Said he can't do anything and to follow up with a GYN which I could not get into in for over a month and my pcp recommended I go to ER due to so much blood loss, fatigue, dizzy, shortness of breath. Dr. Womack did not exam me at all just check my heart for heart murmurs. He discharged me and I went right back to check in again to the ER and was able to see a doctor who cared enough to run some test, labs to make sure I was not bleeding to death and explained what was going on and to come back if I got worse....

Poor bedside manner, does not explain findings from tests, does not have any compassion, everything seems to be a bother to him. Horrible.

Dr Womack was only in my room for 45 seconds. I was in severe pain due to gallstones and I told him I'm having my gall bladder removed in a few days and I needed something for pain. When I asked what he was giving me he said "Does it really matter?" I feel I have a right to ask what medicine is being put into my body. He gave me Bentyl, which I explained to the nurse, doesn't help at all. It's for stomach spasms and doesn't help with the severe pain of gallstones. The nurse said he would let the Dr know what I said and also said the Dr needed my records from the other hospital before he would do anything else for me. I waited three hours of waiting in severe pain and asked several times for help with the pain and was refused. The Dr NEVER came back in to see me or check on me. I finally got tired of hurting and left appealed and humiliated. I've never been treated so poorly. ETMC needs to investigate this doctor and his awful treatment of patients.
