Hi, my name is Grace (Seung In), and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Pennsylvania. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia & sleep issues, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma, binge eating disorder, and seasonal affective disorder (SAD). I’ve been in nursing for over 4 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at University of Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. I chose to be a psych NP because I have always felt a strong …calling to work in the mental health field. When I discovered the role of a psychiatric nurse practitioner—a profession that integrates the biological, physiological, and pharmacological aspects of psychiatry with the psychodynamic and therapeutic dimensions—I knew I had found the right path. The holistic philosophy of nursing, which considers the whole person rather than just symptoms, has always aligned closely with my values and approach to care. This combination allows me to provide thoughtful, comprehensive support that honors both the science and the human experience behind mental health.

My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
