Dr. Shad Syed Ahmad, MD

My family has been with his practice for 25+ years, dedicated and loyal, paid all billing on time, made all appts on time etc. The thanks we received for helping him build his practice was him dropping us all as patients for complaining how we cannot reach the office, make appts, etc., as of late. I left requests to speak to him personally and he returned my calls at times that were days later than promised and inconvenient during work hours, when I couldn't receive calls. On his 2nd attempt to reach me, he "fired" me as a patient. Never had a conversation. Whomever is Rosio, the medical assistant, she seems to be the one mostly running his show now and doing a terrible job at it. No idea what is happening with Maki, his P.A., would love to find out. Highly disappointed, highly don't recommend!

I've been very disappointed with the lack of communication with the staff. It took almost three weeks to get a response about a billing concern and it still has yet to be resolved even though the manager said she would follow up. I bit the bullet and paid it anyway. Currently, I'm trying to get my lab results reviewed, and have yet to hear anything back after I called the office three times, in a one week span. Still no response even though they said they would call back. All this just shows a severe lack of care in my opinion. If you expect good customer service, look elsewhere. I'm leaving as soon as the year is over.

I have had adr Ahmad as my primary care physician for 20 years. He is the best doctor I have ever had.

I have seen Dr Ahmad for such a long time and he is one of the best doctors I have ever visited. He is cautious but not over cautious. He takes time to understand what is going on and actually talk to you. I feel that he actually cares about me. My wife sees him also, along with a couple of my friends. Everyone thinks very highly of him.

Dr Ahmad listens to me and does not discredit my holistic ways to stay healthy. He has been my attending primary physician for the past 12 years.

I went to see Dr.Ahmad, the staff was pleasant, I had to wait in the examination room for 1 hour and 10 minutes. When I finally did see the Doctor, I told him I was upset about the wait, he responded, if I don't like it, then go somewhere else,I needed my medication so I stayed for the exam which consisted of using a stethoscope on me and asked a few questions,the whole thing took about five minutes, that is not my version of a physical, and it only cost 175 dollars. My advice, avoid this guy like the plague, his bedside manner was atrocious.

Dr. Ahmad has been my primary care physician for over 12 years. I would not hesitate to recomend Dr. Ahmad to anyone. He has always taken his time with me and listen to every word I say. His nurse Nancy has been with him for the whole 12 years as well and is as is as kind as Dr. Ahmad. Both Dr. Ahmad and Nancy are courteous and professional. I wouldn't think of changing to a different doctor.

I would not hesitate to recomend Dr. Ahmad.
