Dr. Shadi Abdelnour, MD

Any reviews that gave more than one star are likely fake and created by Dr. Abdelnour's office. The front office does not want to be bothered, so if you call to ask a question or make an appointment, good luck getting through. When you finally do, they will be sure to be rude and dismissive in their response. Would you like Dr. Abdelnour to explain the results of your test? I'm sorry, he doesn't have time for you because he doesn't make money by explaining results over the phone. This has been the single worst doctors experience of my life. Find a different endocrinologist.

Horrible doctor. He really is. Cannot take the time to do anything. But then I dont think he knows what he is doing. Really sick...and he is aweful.

I was referred to Dr. Abdelnour and found the office visit to be seamless. His staff was lovely and he seemed attentive and invested on the initial visit. As my tests came in, Dr. Abdelnour emailed me one-two sentences about my results. I had more questions and was leaving the country for over a month (we discussed this at my initial visit). I called the Dr's office and asked if I could get a 5 minute window to ask some questions. They asked if I had emailed this request which I had. To date I emailed him asking that 2-3 times and never got a call back. I sent Dr. Abdelnour an email sharing my disappointment that he would not take the time to speak with me about my results and instead just kept emailing a couple sentences but leaving me still in no-man's land. His response for 12:27AM was " I understand your frustration, but as you can see I don't have time to get back to charts and message until 11pm or midnight as you can see in my response and its time. I don't believe it is… appropriate for me to call at that time. I tried to explain everything I can through the email, and am happy to talk to you as well, but can't do that until the morning. Keep in mind he couldn't find 5 minutes to call me back over the course of the week that I called him...to me this means he is seeing too many patients or too busy to really invest in new patients. This was a disappointing experience so I will be taking my blood work and moving on.

Dr. Abdlenour is the best endocrinologist I've ever seen and I've had a thyroid disorder since childhood and I'm 60 years old. He is gentle and kind and explains things and answers my questions thoroughly. His plan of care is perfect and really addresses all of the issues and I have multiple medical conditions. I couldn't be any more satisfied. I have already recommended friends to him and they have seen him and are as happy as I am.
