Dr. Shady Nashaat Adib, MD

I went to this person I will not call him a Doctor that honored title is reserved for a true provider. The first time I went to see this man he started yto talk about giving me steroids and I told him that I couldn't do steroids because I am a brittle diabetic and he looked at me and said oh you have diabetes? I told him yes, that I was a Type 1 and on an insulin pump and I asked him if he read my chart prior to this visit? He said he ok just turn up your pump after the injections. This is deadly to me! I told him this and he was done with me and walked out. The second appointment was at the insistent of my endocrinologist because she said the pain I was experiencing was causing undue stress on my body and increasing my blood sugar. She said I would get treated better. So I went... shady adib came in and said that his treatment plan had not changed and that I would have to "just turn up my pump." Again I told him that what he was proposing was life-threatening to me. I was in the… middle of was asking him to work together with my endocrinologist to keep me safe when he stood up in mid sentence turned his back on me and walked out. He came back in and slammed a small book about pain self-management and said he was done. I picked up the book looked at it and tossed it back on the table as he wad walking out and he labeled me as a "hostile patient" I live in pain everyday of my life. Where are my rights?? As a "doctor" he can put anything he wants in my medical chart and it is supposed to be "gospel" This is wrong. I have major respect for the medical community as a whole as I am also included in this community, but the way I have been treated is not right. See this man for your care AT UOUR OWN RISK...
