Dr. Shafik Ahmad

My knee was bothering but instead of having me pull my pant leg up he had me drop my pants....I didn’t question it too much. But then he had me drop my underwear.

Not surprising that The "good" doctor is already trying to rehabilitate his reputation, blaming everything on his wife and ignoring the overwhelming number of his own patients who have spoken out against him. I challenge him to find another M.D. that has this bad of an on-line reputation. No, this is not a few enemies out to get him. This is the result of Dr. Ahmad, out to pillage the world; using it as his playground and ATM machine. I will not go into all the details yet again as to what he did to me, suffice it to say this is a man who has become accustom to using his social skills to habitually deceive others into believing he cares. Its a shame that some are still defending him and do not get that this charming demeanor and caring manner are the stock and trade of the huckster. When there is something that he wants or thinks he an cheat or con you out of he comes off as the most caring, charming concerned man in the world and when there is something in it for him, no matter how… un-deserved, improper, or inappropriate, he is poised to snatch it. When it turns out that there is no opportunity to take advantage of people all his charming and seemingly caring behavior an still serve to defend his reputation and get him this praise that a few are still bestowing on him. Of course, how else is he going to go about this, using a club or zip gun is beneath him and he is too much of a coward to rob people in the conventional manner. Those who still defend him after all this testimony are truly naive. Do these few defenders really think all these people are unable to understand what they have seen with their own eyes? The scary thing is its beginning to look like the doctor really does have no idea that he has been doing wrong. As such, 7 years will not stop him. Suspending his license will not stop him. He will always find a way to con people and hurt them, not because he likes it but because he knows no other way, and feels that what he has been doing is perfectly O.K. What a way to act for a man that actually is likable and probably abler to practice medicine. It was all so unnecessary. All the more evidence that we are not talking just about a bad person but a truly sick person. If only now he would apologies, redeem himself and use this remaining time to help mankind and himself. Oh well.

I have been under his care for over 4 years and know that he is a great doctor but a kind man. I have never had a visit with him that I did not feel I was the center of all of his attention whether it be a 10 or 30 minute visit. He has never not answered my questions or walked away from me. I do not condone the allegations that he is facing but I do know him as a person and can not believe that they are true. I would stand by his side any day.

absolutely dispicable act by a doctor...he should be ashamed of himself. I hope the medical board never allows this man to practice ever again! He is no doctor is a psychopath!!

The recent media on Dr. Ahmad was so unexpected... it had to be a nightmare. There was no way the Shafik Ahmad I knew and visited frequently was in jail. Possible scenarios raced wildly through my mind. I wondered about his family... and if this was...I have been a patient of his for four years. In those four, Dr. Ahmad has always said "You can lean on me."So Dr. Ahmad, "You can lean on us."We love you. To all of the naysayers; answer me this. How many doctors leave their personal cell phone number in case of an emergency?

In my profession I deal with dozens of local doctors and review reports from hundreds more. I have the luxury of knowing much more about medical professionals and their practices than the average person. Dr. Ahamd is my choice when I need medical attention and my decision is based heavily on his level of compassion and care. The comments I read here and other sites are obvious attempts to damage his credibility and clearly seem to be some sort of personal vendetta. I have had dozens of appointments with Dr. Ahmad over the years and I'm highly sceptical of any negative comments I read.

I feel the doctor was very good. I would recomand him to anyone.

This doctor does not have a caring side, no bedside manners. He is not willing to answer any of your questions. He just gets up and walks out of the room when he is done, it doesnt matter if you are not. I was completely appalled at the way we were treated! I wouldnt take my dog to this doctor!
