Dr. Shagufta Qazi, MD

Long wait time, office charges just to fill out sports required physical. One month they don’t charge any two months later they charge. Ask when they charged and they said at the beginning of the year.

She is very courteous. Always answers after hours calls and explains things in clear layman terms so I could understand. I am always able to get same day appointment. Her office is very neat and kid friendly

We have limited doctors available on our insurance plan and were forced to chose Dr. Qazi, as our first two choices were not accepting new patients. Thankfully after 6 months with Dr. Qazi, two well baby-vists and one visit for a high fever we are switching. Here are my issues with her:1) She literally spends only 2 minutes with your child. I thought the other reviewers were exaggerating. Nope, tis true. She is in and out of the door, asking and answering questions on her way out. 2) She is ROUGH with the babies. Not once did she handle one of my twin daughters gently. In fact, she accidentally hit one of them with her stethescope, not apologizing after. 3) She is often late to appointments. We arrived to an empty lobby at 9:00am, were walked right into the back, weighed measured, etc...and waited for AN HOUR for her to show up. She was late to her own practice and the staff didn't mention it to us once. Unprofessional and rude.4) She doesn't offer advice on common questions other… than "eat fruits and veggies". 5) We had seen her twice already and I heard her ask the nurse, after she stepped out of the exam room, "Is it their first time here?" UM COME ON!Needless to say, we won't be back to Dr. Qazi and I URGE you to look elsewhere.

We have used Dr. Qazi for 2 years. As new parents, we went off of a referral from our OB/GYN. From the beginning we have found that she is always late for appointments, even when it seems that the office is empty. Her staff does not call to reschedule appointments when she is at the hospital. And the worst part is that she makes you wait 45 minutes and spends 2 minutes with your child, and answers questions while she walks out of the door. It's ok, find a better pediatrician.

My kid was Dr. Qazi patient for around 1 year, so I do not write this review after 1 appointment. Each time our waiting time at the office where somewhere from 45 min to 1 hour. Patients are double booked all the time. During the visit Dr.Qazi is always in rush, spending with my kid 2 min, no advices on the diet, behavior or anything else. In this 2 min she shovels kid around looks in the ears and eyes and that's it, she is out. If you ask Dr. Qazi questions she is answering while exiting the door. Unfortunately our insurance has limited choices of pediatricians that is only reason I did not change doctor. If you have a choice and want to have a pediatrician who would pay attention at your baby I would look somewhere else.

A bit busy with a lot of patients waiting, but does give her full attention when called in. Very courteous and never annoyed. Gave me an incredibly long explanation that fully satisfied and allayed my fears. Rated very highly by my OBGYN doctor.

If you need a doctor that takes time to explain to you what you needed to know and not rush you then this is not the doctor you need for your. Child. I'm not impress with her bedside manner and when she visited my newborn at the hospital she seem to be always in a hurry and not even explain to you thoroughly , she unwrapped my childs diaper without putting back the pants on not to mention she forgot to place the mittens back that caused big scratch on my baby's face , why? She's in a hurry ! I switch other doctor who's way way better and concern about you and your child

i chose this doctor since she got a very good medical background and recommended by my obgyn and close to where i live. first day she visited my newborn, always seem to be in a hurry, doesnt take time to explain unless you ask, if she does not so elaborative. doesn't even bother toa ask if you have any concern or question at all. one time she left my newborn unwrapped properly causing scratch on his face. this doctor is not passionate enough for her patient. she is not informative about the milestones or anything concerning your baby as what the previous comment mentioned. if you stick to her you have to be aggressive in asking question or you end up with a question mark on your face??? goodluck, im switching doctor soon..

She seems to be in rush all the time. She hardly spends 5 mins and that explains why everyone gets appointments easliy with her. If it is routine checkup for the baby, she doesn't even care to open diaper. She doesn't discuss the milestones the baby has achieved or what they must be doing in future. She never talked about important stuff like giving baby tummy time or talk about food for the baby ..nothing..nada..zero. She seems to be rough while handling crying babies ..just seems to be in rush to get out of the room..wrestles with kids...

Very good doctor. Always available for the patients , even after hours. She guides & help the parents. Till now I have no complaints.
