Dr. Shahbaz Khan, MD

Dr. Khan has no idea what he is doing and should not be practicing medicine. I was referred to him by my primary care physician. I wanted to see if he could help me to adjust my meds. Immediately he wanted to change the medicines I had been taking successfully and replace them with a brand new drug (which I assume the pharmaceutical company is incentivising him to do.) I told him know I just needed to make some minor changes to my meds. After talking with Dr. Khan for just a few visits he accused me of taking drugs that I was not taking. I actually brought the sealed RX bottle to his office to prove I had not taken them. That was my last visit to Dr. Khan. On top of that he recently sent me a collections letter because his accounting team failed to submit the billing to the insurance on time.

This Dr comes across as caring but if there is a scheduling issue he does not take responsibility. This Dr scheduled me on the wrong day ! I arrived for only to be told he wasn’t there an appointment on the schedule for me on that day. Next thing I know I have a late fee! And it was the first time and Boom! He sent me to collections fir $100 for 1st no show that was his fault. He wasn’t interested in helping me ....Just billing me ..stay away ! Not a caring and understanding person. It’s all about the $$$$$. The dr I am seeing now is amazing , caring honest it’s not about $$$ it’s about me!

Instead of helping you overcome your anxiety and depression, he steers you towards a new problem, always insinuating at every meeting if you hear voices, even ifyou have repeatedly told him in all past meetings that you do not hear voices and that your problem is feeling low or anxious. Did not help at all. Would not recommend him to anyone. He probably should seek professional help himself.

His office has a board that says that they will make your dreams come true but honestly he is an expert at his remarkable ability to crush your hopes and make you suicidal. Then he will label you schizophrenic.Will rip you and your insurance off of dollars. Extremely unprofessional. Watch out for his behavior. Excellent ability to send you to the nearest psych hospital. Watch out if you have desire to live please avoid this doctor :):)

I alwys received unabated and dilligent care with Dr. Shabaz A. Kahn. He is an exemplary doctor. He is one of the best (at his feild) that I have ever gotten the chance to work with. He is a prodigical and that is because/subsequent to the fact that he cares.
