Dr. Shaheda N Azher, MD

This review is written to emphasize the horrible treatment of patients, in tandem with Dr. Azher's total lack of concern for the patient's well-being, dignity or privacy! Despite being told that Dr. Azher provided the exact injections and sub-specialty care I needed for a very difficult, stigmatic condition, Azher refused to follow up with me, refused to respect my privacy as a patient and the privacy of my health records, and the fact that prompt, recurrent treatment was desperately needed because the injections wear off after only four or five weeks---leaving me to suffer in a desperate situation. Her assistant similarly offers zero follow-through, adding up to a horrific experience. Simply put, no concern or compassion for patients by this doctor.

Excellent doctor! She knows what she’s doing; she corrected a misdiagnosis by one doctor and found a hemorrhage in my husband’s brain that other doctors missed. If it wasn’t for Dr Azher, he wouldn’t be here today. She explains things thoroughly along with diagrams and drawings. Highly recommend.

I had inured my head in a fall (concussion). My leg gave out without notice due to my back injury. I broke my shoulder on one fall and the other shoulder at another time. I made the mistake that my serious back injury was from a fall at work. W/C. From that minute on she in a loud voice did not want to know about my head. It was all about my back and what i was doing about my workman's comp related back injury! Wow. It turns out she put a note on my case. She had a psychotic negative view of me due to me being on W/C . It was so obvious that i would not go back. Years later i could not take my head pain anymore and went to her partner who apparently read her notes. It was a bigger shock ! I will not for now go into the other proof i have but have prepared a complaint to send to the N.Y.S. BOARD OF HEALTH . STAY AWAY !!! After reading this they will know who i am even though i never complained to them !

I have been having a very hard time with pain, numbness and burning in my feet. Dr Azher not only listens to my complaints, she tries to do something about them. She is attentive and concerned and I get the feeling that she and I are working together to make me feel better.

Incompetent and hard to understand. The office staff does not listen to your concerns either and puts you through to voicemail. Dr. Azher referred me to a specialist at which point the specialist tried calling several times to speak to Dr. Azher directly about my condition, but could never get through and his phone calls returned leaving me, the patient out in the cold at which my condition became worse. I followed up with Dr. Azher's office several times myself, leaving messages, but the doctor would not follow up.
