Dr. Shaheen Iqbal, MD

I didn't read the other reviews until just before my appointment...and it is a good thing I didn't. I might have cancelled. I just had my first appointment today with Dr. Igbal and it was one of the best appointments I have ever had with a doctor and I am 70 years old so I have had plenty of them. He took his time, asked questions to thoroughly understand my history and then answered all my concerns, and I had quite a few. I have absolutely no idea what happened on others' appointments, but my experience could not have better. I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Igbal to anyone looking for an extremely competent and caring physician!

Worst doctor I have ever visited. He was offensive and lacked understanding of my medical history and was not experienced enough to give advice. Put me through very expensive testing and when the results did not come back positive he just gave me expensive medication to see if "it would work." The staff is not friendly or understanding. Wish I could give him negative stars.

Does not listen to his patients. Unconcerned. Only worried about selling COPD machines.

This Doctor was very insulting , Condesending, and rude.I felt very guilty for even going to him.I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

This guy sucks as a doctor, my brother in law has been in the whittier hospital for 3 weeks already and this doctor is been taking care of him, and the results are way below expectation, this so call doctor, come in the room maybe once a day, sees the patience, when I said sees the patience, is just like that, he only sees the patience..does not talk to the family members, does not comunicate what the patience has, or what the next step will be, or what is really wrong with the patience. so in another words, we the family members are kind a clueless.. his lack off comunication is just unprofessional..and to be unable to find out what is wrong with the patience after 3 weeks is unacceptable, this guy just sucks as a doctor.
