Dr. Shaheen Khosla, DO

I recently went to Dr. Kohsla in Redwood City for an exciting new fractional laser treatment called "Pearl", that she has brought into her practice. The Pearl laser is a skin resurfacing treatment, ideal for the improvement of the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other skin blemishes. Dr. Kohsla was trained on how to use this specific laser and it was very apparent in her consultation and skill during the treatment. The treatment itself resulted in very little downtime and I went back to work that same day! My face just felt a little tight and like a had a slight sunburn. After 3-5 days post-treatment I noticed my skin texture was incredibly soft and some of the fine lines on my face had smoothed out and were hardly noticeable. Overall I couldn't be happier with my results from the Pearl laser treatment and this is just one of the many aesthetic treatments that Dr. Khosla offers at her practice, as one of the top cosmetic dermatologist on the peninsula... She's AMAZING!!!

My first visit here was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and the placed was decorated beautifully. I had came in for Lip Filler and Dr. Khosla had done my lips. She was super sweet and kindly guided me throughout the process. The procedure didn't take to long either and I absolutely love how my lips turned out.

Just had a microdermabrasion done with Dr. Khosla at her practice, pacific coast dermatology. Dr. Khosla and her staff are amazing and kind. Dr. Khosla is very knowledgeable in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She had explained to me before what the microdermabrasion was and how it would help my blackheads. I am so pleased with the results and would definitely recommend her practice for these and other type of skin treatments. The office is clean, and they take all covid precautions to make it a safe and spa-like environment.

I came in for help with my acne. I've struggled with acne since I was 9 (I know super young) and finally as an adult, I decided to seek treatment. I was able to schedule an appointment very easily. At my appointment, Dr. Khosla was I discussed a treatment plan that suited my needs and assured me that I will be well taken care of. My treatment plan included a series of peels to help with my acne scarring as well as medication for my acne. It's been about two months now and I can say that my acne has cleared up significantly! I feel more confident in my skin than I ever had before. Thank you Dr. Khosla! You're amazing!

I had Botox with Dr. Khosla. It was my first experience and she took time to explain everything to me and made sure I was really comfortable with all the information. Her technique was very gentle and the results were absolutely amazing!! Her office had many Covid protocols which made me feel like I was in a safe environment. I would highly recommend Dr. Khosla. She is an experienced and talented doctor.

Reading the reviews here is a bit surprising. I found her to be totally professional and friendly. She was fabulous and took the time to explain what she was looking for and why. Definitely going back to her in the future.

My family physician although had done some lab work totally misdiagnosed me and my situation simply got worse. By his own admission he referred me to Dr Shaheen Oshtory to quote him the best doctor/dermatologist in the bay area. Well he was right. I counted dr Oshtory asked 4 questions reviewd and looked very carefully at the effected areas discussed in details that my skin condition most likely is XXXXXX and prescribed an aoinment with which my condition almost disappeared by the third application . She was the best. She provided me with her direct number knowing i was in so much agony.. And that gesture by nature calms the patient immediately.

Terrible experience with this doctor. She's arrogant and condescending, just like many reviewers on other sites have said, pushing prescription pills and harsh treatments, with no explanation or discussion of options and side effects. She takes no time, provides no useful help, and leaves the patient feeling worse than before.
