Not helpful At all we saw him in er , he couldn’t give referral Couldn’t do basically anything maybe the worse doctor we seen , waste of time

I was forced to deal with this guy during my father's hospital stay. My father was in hospital for a week and Dr. Shahid didn't come in to see him once. When the family came to visit we were shocked that after we were in the room we were told we needed to put gowns on and gloves because dad had c. Diff infection. There were no warnings posted on the door and we could all become infected. When the nurses call this doctor to ask him to come down to discuss he wanted them to have us just talk on the phone to him. We refused and he had to walk his lazy self to the room. When I started speaking to him to tell him the issue he immediately threw his hand up to shush me. When I kept speaking he then rolled his eyes at me as I explained being very concerned they we could become infected with this because I have a lung problem and my 91 yr old mother was there too. We are immune compromised and I dont have insurance. He laughed as though c. Diff is as harmless as a common cold. He would never… have spoken to my husband like this nor would he have acted that way had I been a man. He is rude, arrogant, lazy and dismissive. I can't wait for my father to be out of his care.
