All about the money I still have the same problems I came in with. She gave me tons of test just to soak up the money I still feel the same I really don't know if she is a real doctor??now I have to go to another Dr for help more money to spend.

The office just say yes to everything but nothing happens

This doctor shouldn't be in practice. Her main concern is her own finances, not patients' well being.

I just left Dr. Shaikh's office and am appalled by how I was treated. This is about my 5th time seeing her and always with the same complaint, coughing, short of breath, fatigue, joint pains. Last time I saw her she recommended I see a Rhematolgist for my pain. The Rhematolgist says all my symptoms represent sarcoidosis, which I have, and is an auto immune disease of the lungs. He was confused as to why Dr. Shaikh would refer me to a Rhematolgist when sarcoidosis is a pulmonary disease. Today when I went in she completely ignored my symptoms and told me I should see a psychiatrist for my pain! She's basic guidelines implied that I'm probably depressed, I said I didn't know people had coughing fits when they're depressed !? She then offered to have one of her assistant do a breathing exam on me which I've done before and you have to breathe just right to keep a hot air balloon in the middle of the computer screen. If the balloon falls to high or low you have to start over. I… was on my 3rd time when she said I had to go and basically kicked me out, without my completing my exam, because she had someone else to bring in. She is so unorganized and comes in late so all her appts are backed up. I've never been dismissed by a doctor before in my life, needless to say I definitely won't be back!

The staff is very rude & obnoxious, inpatient! No compassion, Nasty attitude with the entire staff! Looking for a new doctor ASAP!

She was the worst Dr I have ever seen in my life! She's here for the paycheck and not to help.

Dr Shaikh is very competent and caring. Every hospitalization she has come in to see me and check on my pulmonary status.

VERY THOROUGH ...

she is never available when you need her the most, end up in the ER. she don't care.

Only cares about money. If you have bad insurance, you are treated like trash. I have heard her yelling at patients with her nasty tone of voice.
