See another oncologist If I could rate 0 I would. This “Dr” and the front staff have ZERO compassion for the patients they are seeing. The staff treated my mother in law terribly the day before her surgery. She is already nervous and scared, and your horrible bedside manner made it worse. She thankfully found another oncologist, and will forever tell people about her experience seeing Dr. Shahina Patel and the staff that helps draw blood. None of you should be in the field you’re in. You lack what it takes to make a great doctor. I hope people that see this never go nor let their family members see her either.

I called day before to see if we could do a phone follow up for test results. I was told no that the doctor needs to see patient in office once a year. My mother has dementia and is very irritable when she has doctor appts and we change her environment. We go in during a pandemic to a cancer office to find out she is fine and won’t need to return! She just put all the cancer patients in jeopardy and my mom by possible exposure of Covid for no reason. I became upset asking why we couldn’t have done this over the phone and her answer was that doctors who do over the phone consults are not doing their patients justice because she can’t examine them. I told her you didn’t examine my mom, remember she already told my mom she didn’t need to come back. She then asked me if I wanted her to find cancer! What? This doctor is unprofessional, reckless, and we will never step in this office again. She blamed her staff for not telling her about phone call. Blame game.
