Dr. Taat's assistant was very nice. I did the implant special advertised for $1650 for complete job which included implant, abutement and procelain over metal crown for $1650 (original price $3,500). I didn't want a porcelain over metal cuz tooth is toward the front of the mouth and I want a more transluscent look to the tooth. Linda at the front desk told me I can get a Lava crown for $400 more, so I paid for that. They put in a porcelain over metal crown without telling me about it and never refunded my $400. They did even tell me it either. I didn't realized they did that. When I look closely onto the gum line , then I can see the gray color metal while trying to get food always stuck there. Also this is not the only problem I have. The crown is poorly made with a huge gap and whenever I eat bunch of food is stuck in that tooth pocket(gap). I went to my dentist for a cleaning and I told him I am having problems with food getting stuck to the implant tooth all the time. … My own dentist told me there is a super huge gap. My dentist doesn't do implants, so that is why I went elsewhere for the job. I will need to re-do the implant dental crown in the future. The total cost is going to cost me more than $4300 dollars. The cost of getting this special is not worst it. Adding up the plane ticket trips, rental car cost, and the cost of re-do is going to make this one implant cost me more than $4300. The 3rd negative us that the scheudle is very restrictive. I have to make all appointments on Thursdays and they don't tell you this in advance when you decided to do the implant with them. I re-call them telling me that they are available Tuesday thru Thursdays. My husband had to take the whole days off whenever I had the implant appointments . Every Thursday is my kids early dismissial day. NOt only did I get ripped-off for $400, poorly done implant crown, very imflexible appointment days (only Thursday),and lastly my husband had to take time off work to be at home to pick up the kids on Thursday's (early dismissal days).
