I went to my gp many times complaining that I thought I might have diabetes, but she always brushed me off. Dr Parepally accurately diagnosed me with hyperthyroidism and pre-diabetes and my life is finally back to normal. Thanks to her care I am pregnant again after two losses. She doesn't have the best bedside manner, but that isn't as important to me as her abilities as a doctor.

She claims to be very knowledgable but insted of getting to the root problem, she prescribes aggressive medications and hopes it will work. DO NOT go to her, she is not happy in her industry and wishes she was doing something else!

This is the most disrespectful,abrupt,and unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. Dr. Parepally will make it quite clear to new patients immediately that she is busy and her time is her main concern not your well being. There are many great endocrinologists in the Pittsbugh area to choose from. I suggest to anyone looking for an endocrinologist, stay away from this one!

She is not very good at returning calls. Does not have time to answer family concerns. Does not have very good bedside manner. Very short with older adults. I was very disappointed with the care we recieved by this doctor.

Dr. Parepally has been seeing me for 6 years for thyroid and diabetes issues. She is always very thorough and discusses my bloodwork in detail with me. She never minds answering any question that I have and makes me feel at ease always.

I have been a patient for over a year. You are never able to talk to the doctor on the phone even when you are having problems. I personally do not run to the doctors everytime I feel bad, so when I called with some problems I was hoping for a call back in a timely manner. You must explain your problem to the office staff then they say they will call you back but may take days if they call back at all. She changed my meds with no follow up bloodwork on the meds change to make sure everything is ok, just see you in the year, but once I started having more problems the nurse refused to give me my blood results starting everything is normal?
