Dr. Shailesh V Gandhi, MD

I'm sorry I even had to give one star. This doctor is irresponsible and unethical. He is unsympathetic and is only concerned with getting patients in and out in the least time possible. He also threw prescriptions at me as if he just hoped something would work. Apparently his "staff" consists of one incompetent person and she is as rude and uncaring as he is. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this man.

No compassion and bad attitude towards patient. Arrogant and would not listen. Don't go to him. I walked out he was so bad.

I had been a patient of Dr. Ghandi's 6 years ago, in 2008, and I had a positive experience. Over two months ago, May 2014, I decided I needed to return to see him. However, in attempting to schedule an appointment with him, I have had no success. His assistant, Tawana, has returned my call once and she left a message on my phone. She never actually answers the phone in real time; calls immediately go to an answering service. I can no longer recommend this physician since his office administration fails at the ability to schedule an appointment.

I have read the previous comment and I think she has the wrong office. The assistant is very helpful and in my case work hard to get me in (insurance comp was giving problems). My overall experience was GREAT and I have referred other peoople to him.

The assistant got into a yelling match with me on the phone, threatened me and doesn't AT ALL understand psychological needs of patients to NOT meet a strange man for the first time, in a strange place and after dark. She never called me about the 7 pages of sensitive material that I sent in and called me THE DAY OF an appointment she made for me, without saying so, without even asking if I was available. Just because I need help, doesn't mean I'm going to leave the rest of my life at the drop of a hat. She was VERY unprofessional, and I'm trying to get in touch with the Dr. himself to talk with him about his staff, and how she lost him a patient and client.
