Not a good experience. I placed my life in his hands. Found a new Oncologist. He needs to care about people.

Horrible!

Dr. Patel is a highly qualified and outstanding physician. As a patient for ten years I can confirm that he outstanding in both his understanding of my issues and the treatment he recommends. Without question he is an outstanding physician. I would recommend him to anyone needing his expertise. His approach is conservative, yet always effective. He is one of the best. Also has a great sense of humor when appropriate.

Dr. Patel is a quite a remarkable doctor. My wife has dealt with him regarding past issues with a non-invasive cancer. Her anxieties about the problem and the risk of a more sinister recurrence left her needing attentive care, especially because some doctors ignore the very real threat the condition represents. Dr. Patel has always taken great care to make sure she is well-examined. When performing exams, he is clearly very intensely focused on what he is searching for and confident about his analysis afterward. A general surgeon (by referral from another practitioner) examined my wife and wanted to perform surgery on her from what she felt just in case. My wife was pregnant at the time and wasn't comfortable with surgery. She visited Dr. Patel; he performed the exam, and he stated definitively that what she had felt was normal glandular tissue exaggerated by the pregnancy. Dr. Patel inspired enough confidence in my wife, worrier that she is, to relax and realize that she was truly… safe and did not need a "just in case" surgery. His bedside manner is really great, too. He is very friendly and personable, yet professional.
