Dr. Shaista Hoda Faruqui, MD

I will recommend to any body. She goes above and beyond to take care, very passionate, polite.

She is, by far, the absolute worst doctor (and I use the word loosely) I've ever experienced. Expect to wait 3-4 hours for a two minute consult. Under-staffed by what seems to be uncredentialed young people who spend most of time apologizing to patients for their long wait. Don't even think about asking any questions. She will berate her patients and their caregivers/family while expressing that she is the best. She will milk your insurance for all it's worth and has her husband funneling unsuspecting patients to her. Terrible attitude and bed-side manor. The hospital nurses have no respect for her, and that says alot. Very negative, even to the point of telling a patient they're going to die while claiming she's going to cure their cancer. She's not the god she thinks she is. She will tell you and your caregivers she isn't responsible for your outcome and takes no responsibility for anything. The only honest thing she ever said is "You won't get this kind of care from anyone else."… Well, thank God for that!! Just sorry i couldn't give her a lower rating. Avoid at all cost.

Dr. was not in favor of second opinion. Horrible attitude.

I honestly think this woman was mentally unstable and unsuited to make medical decisions of any kind. She basically yelled at me when I tried to inquire if the practice was involved in clinical trials.

I've been seeing Dr. Faruqui for 3 years and have been very pleased with her and her staff. Very professional and caring.
