Dr. Salim’s interest in neurological and musculoskeletal ailments influenced him to pursue a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center in New York City; where he served as Chief Resident in his final year of residency. His passion for treating spine disorders and for the field of sports medicine led him to pursue fellowship training in minimally invasive interventional spine procedures and Sports Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and OSS Health in York, PA. He trained under the mentorship of Dr. Michael B. Furman, a recognized international leader in the field of interventional spine.
