Dr. Shalabh Singhal, MD

Dr. Singhal is an excellent Cardiologist, with a great personality. Physicians with personalities are often hard to find! I've only gotten to know him over the past year because of my new found CAD, but I feel as if I've known him much longer. He is such a caring physician, and is willing to answer all of my questions...even the full page of questions I wrote out for him. My friends and family were so impressed with his knowledge and his bedside manner, that they all vowed to see him if they ever needed a Cardiologist. The man is a genius, for real....a walking text book! :) Dr. Singhal will not beat around the bush, and is very up front. If you don't take it lightly when people tell you the truth, he may not be for you! He is not afraid to tell you that you need to lose weight and stay away from Long John Silvers. But, we love him, and are so sad that he has moved out of state. I told him that I am willing to travel out of state for my follow up visits, but he is a believer in… having patient care close to home... :'( BOOO!! LOL He will be missed greatly.

Dr. Singhal is an excellent Cardiology. He did my cardiac cath a few weeks back and has been taking care of members of my family for a few years now. He always spends time talking to me and explains in details what I have and what is means for me. he also spends time explaining to me what I personally do about it. He lets me know the TRUTH. He always insists that I have to do MY PART in managing the disease. I have a complicated heart condition, he has truly saved my life several times.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Singhal, he is not only an excellent cardiologist, he is truly a good man, he deeply cares about his profession and his patients and never gives up. He follows up with phone calls, not his staff, HE calls himself. One of the best things about him is he listens, really listens and answers every single question. Asking him to be my husband's doctor was one of the best decisions I have made. Plus, he has a sense of humor and that is never a bad thing !

I have had a history of congestive heart failure fopr several years. I have been seeing heatr specialisst for many years. I have never met any physician who has been this caring or understanding about how it feels to live with this condition. He has been taking care of me for nearly 2 years now and now my brother, neighbor and a close friend all see him. I put my complete faith in him. If you get a chance definitely do get to see him.

I have edema, and I needed test to see if it was heart related, My first visit I had to sit in the waiting room for an hour. Then I did the test, He Called me and said that the test look normal. So he put me on lasix water pills, 80mgs, I was fine with that but then it wasn't helping so he put me on 160mgs of the stuff. When I called him to tell him about how it wasn't working, He didn't call back for 2 weeks, and He reschedule my appointment. So when I get back in to see him, he says my test show abnormal thing, but just a month earlier he said everything was fine, I had all the test you can Have blood, Echo etc. and He still hasn't found whats wrong, I wouldn't go to him for anything, He has treated me with cold, cruel behavior. I was 230lbs before my edema and I now weigh 290lbs and He says Im too fat. Its because I have 60lbs of fluid in me. Trust me DON'T GO TO THIS GUY!!!

I have several health problems including heart disease. He was very honest with me about my disease and let me how I can help myself get better. A little hard to hear about what I was doing wrong, but when I did as he told me to do, in 6 months I felt much better. Some doctos just push pills. He was very honest and empowered my health in my hands and let me get better under his direction. I have been seeing him for nearly one year, and I think he is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

He was excellent and was carign and understood why I was there and took the time to explain what was going on whyI was feeling the way, and he did a few tests and a few days later I was feeling a lot better. He also took care of my wife, whom he take care fo after her heart attack and literally I think saved her life. He is the best.

Very professional, to the point and clearly uptodate with the latest information. I had a very difficult situation with my father and treated us very well, with excellent bedside skills and understood our very difficult situation and took excellent care of my father.
