Dr. Shalini Mulaparthi, MD

D Mulaparthi is great. Friendly, good with explanations, compassionate with bad info to patients, but her office staff is incompetent.

Dr. Mulaparthi treated both of my parents. One didn't choose to take all treatment, and she still treated her with dignity and respect to provide her quality of life care in the end of her time. She remembers even me when I come with my father, and I'm not her patient. She knows my name no matter how long it's been since she's seen us, and details of our last visit that wouldn't be medical. We wait on her for a while in the waiting room, but I know it's because she takes time when it really matters to hear the hearts of her patients during their visits. So she is worth waiting on. I'm so thankful my parents were blessed enough to get her as their oncologist, and would recommend her anytime.

Expect to wait at least 90 minutes past your appt time regularly. Expect her not to know what meds she has prescribed. Expect her to not know what other specialists she sent you to are doing. Expect her to have no bedside manner. Expect her to be condescending. Expect her to drop you like a hot potato when your cancer has spread, you're dying and she can't bill you anymore as she did with my husband.

I was lucky to be a patient of Doctor Mulaparthi. She got me through my breast cancer treatment and did so while dealing with my other health issues. She is a wonderful, honest and caring physician.

Dr. Mulaparthi is very professional, yet extremely personable....with an excellent bedside manner.She has an awesome staff also...The Chemo Center staff is also awesome, very friendly, willing to share information, they go above and beyond to make you comfortable.During my six months of weekly and or daily treatments, I was always amazed at the staff, and their enthusiasm.
