Dr. Shamaila Haris, MD

This “physician” loosely adheres to the oath and would prefer to cause mental harm and anguish than to uphold meticulous medical records while keeping with the treatment of a life long PROVEN 3 times over, diagnosis. THIS ”Physician” has not seen me nor has she even attempted to speak to me in regard to my life long diagnoses. Instead she has been comfortable treating me like I?m a sheet of paper. Cherry picking my records and acknowledging some of my diagnoses while completely ignoring others. This “physician” is worthless in every aspect of the title and should not be performing work caring for anyone. Do not trust her. Do not appoint her to manage your health team. These are all my personal opinions based on the “LACK of interaction” with this doctor. Yet somehow gets to act like she has control over my future? No thanks, go back to Chicago. NANCY SOUTHERLAND

My doctor of 35 years went to a concierge program which I can’t afford, and he didn’t take my covered California plan. Was greeted by Angie at front desk. Very friendly and thorough. Waited no longer than 10 mins after paperwork for exam room. Less than that before Dr. Haris came in. Very nice, thorough, and answered all my questions. Spent over half hour with me. First impressions very good!!!

Unfortunately I had to get a new doctor cause my primary doctor had to retire. Dr. Haris was new to the office so she had some availability open. Upon our first appointment my initial thoughts of her were that she needed to improve her bedside manners but I still gave her the benefit of a doubt. My 2nd visit with her wasn't any better. She was very short, didn't really listen to my complaints and wanted to send me to unnecessary referrals. On the 3rd visit, I waited longer in the waiting room then I did with my actual appointment with her. Before I could finish telling her what my concerns were, she was already writing me a unnecessary script and telling me that I just had the flu (btw, it's been a month since my visit and I still have the same symptoms) she was ready to step out of the office within 2 mins of entering the room. So I was really upset and told her that she needed to spend some more time with her patients and actually look at my records and know what is going on with… me, so I didn't have to guess for myself anymore. Now, she said she was going to stop a medication that I have been taking for years until I go see another expensive specialist (that I can't afford). This would not be such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that it usually takes 2 to 3 months to get an appointment with any specialist. The reason why it is a big deal is that I already suffer from seizures and she knows very well that if you stop taking this medication abruptly, it also causes seizures. She did all this even after my neurologist said that I should not be taken off my existing medication. So if you like a doctor to ignore your real needs and complaints and waste your money and time then this is your doctor!

I needed a new doctor and when searching found out she was accepting new patients. I went in with an illness and was diagnosed with graves disease. She was courteous and knowledgeable. Felt comfortable and at ease.
