Dr. Shamim Justin Badiyan, MD

This doctor dismissed me as a patient when I went to the hospital in horrific pain because on their answering machine that is what they say to do (they have no doctor on call). The hospital physician sent in a prescription for me. The next week Dr. Badiyan dismissed me as a patient saying I broke the opioid contract. My husband was upset and called in asking how is she suppose to get off cold turkey. His staff (through him) just said to go to Carrollton Springs Hospital to detox. The pain I have is a beast and very challenging to treat but I felt I was kicked to the curb. Unless you have something that you are sure medications could help, I would not recommend Dr. Badiyan to anyone!

Went there for help.. got none and when I wanted to understand why my procedure caused me more pain,I was treated disrespectfully..told he didn't know and had no suggestions..I put a very thoughtful review on Google thru took it down?? Go elsewhere where they care

I have never felt more safer in my life seeing a new doctor. His staff is one of the best. He listens and values exactly what is the best treatment for you health. He is always congest of how long you have had wait, If any. He always apologies for your wait , if any, And you are always relived. He never mentions surgery unless it's the last ditch effort to relive your pain. He is a wonderful doctor that you CAN TRUST+ COUNT ON. Noel Dickson

Never felt safer in my life when seeing a Doctor for the first time. Dr. B is the best!

Dr Badiyan made no attempt at trying to find a deeper cause to my pain. He was rude to not only the girls who work in my orthopedic surgeons office but my surgeon herself. He constantly changed my medication and refused to listen to what I had to say even though i know my body and how it reacts to certain medications very well. I left messages letting him know i was changing pain doctors but still received a letter stating i was being discharged due to having a script filled by another doctor. I now have a a doctor who listens to my and who was able to get me to a geneticist that found the root cause of my pain.

An hour plus wait in a pain management office is both extremely uncomfortable and personally insulting.

Dr. Badiyan is by far the best pain management doctor I've seen. He's very knowledgeable, empathetic, talked me through multiple options instead of jumping straight to narcotics or expensive surgeries, and really listened to what I was saying. I felt heard and understood, which is rare with a lot of pain management doctors. I was able to book an appointment quickly and easily, same with scheduling procedures. I recommend Dr. Badiyan to all of my friends, family, and coworkers who need pain mgmt.

All I can say is make sure you have every last penny of your money before you walk in this man's office because he wouldn't care if you were dying in his reception area if you're a penny short he does not care about you or anything to do with you

Dr,Badiyan is one of the most caring Dr.s I have ever met. He LISTENS and tries to find different options to help with my debilitating pain. He is second to none - I have worked in hospitals for 20+ years and know a good doctor from an average one. Thanks ever so much!

I would recommend Dr. Badiyan to anyone needing help with chronic pain of any kind. His bedside manner goes beyond what I have experienced in the past. He took the time to listen, and I felt like he truly cared about my condition and wanted to help. He is very well-informed about the latest medical practices and procedures, as well as medication. I feel very well taken care of!
