Dr. Shamina Jaffer Henkel, MD

Rather than listen, Dr. Henckel offered my daughter her opinion that her parents ‘ divorce agreement was improper or incorrect. Dr Henkel knows nothing about family law! My daughter is already confused enough, and this Dr. acted more like a fox news panelist rather than a health care provider. Totally unprofessional and damaging to an already damaged child.

Horrible experience with her.

While we knew from discussions with other parents in Atlanta she had no empathy or diplomacy we thought she would be a great doctor. When you ask a tough question she becomes very defensive. We went through many med changes and there were serious behaviors we were concerned about. Her protocol is make an appointment and we will discuss. She charges for every email, phone call, etc and does not accept insurance. We decided to pursue a second opinion and found many doctors with exceptional educations (Emory, Harvard, University of Texas) that really want to help the patient.

Easy to talk to. Listens well is compassionate but firm.

Awful, condescending, rude, disrespectful doctor. She made me feel worse about myself.

Very disappointed in visit. Sub rate Doctor what more can I say. Not polite to parents, arrogant, spoke to child in very inappropriate manner. Scary that these kind of people actually are allowed to practice

horrible. unfortunately had her consult on my child at egleston. didn't listen - made super quick judgement without talking at length with my child. not kind or caring.
