Dr. Shan Liang

THIS IS AN ISSUE NOBOBY LIKES TO TALK ABOUT, SO I DECIDED THAT AFTER HAVING DIARHEA FOR 3 MONTHS. MY REGULAR DR PUT ME ON CIPRO, NOTHING HAPPEND. I DECIDED TO TELL DR LIANG, AFTER INITIAL TREATMENT AND 2DAYS OF MEDICINE, CANT BELIEVE HOW GOOD I FEEL. DR LIANG IS TRULY AMAZING, HE WAS SO CONCERNED THAT I HAD BEEN SUFFERING WITH THIS SO LONG!! STRESS DOES HORRIBLE THINGS TO YOUR BODY SO I DECIDED TO TELL HIM. I KNOW THERE OTHERS OF YOU OUT THERE THAT SUFFER JUST LIKE ME, I KNOW A FEW. MY OWN FAMILY IS VERY SKEPTICAL OF ACUPUNCTURE AND CHINESE MEDICINE WHICH HAVE BEEN AROUND 3000 YEARS. I CAN TELL YOU THAT MY FIRST ISSUES WITH SCIATICA AND LOWER BACK ISSUES, HE IS DEFINITELY THE BEST DOCTOR TO HAVE HELPED ME. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO TRY HIM. HIS STAFF (NICOLE) AND OTHER INTERNS ARE VERY COMPASSIONATE. I ALSO WANT TO COMPLIMENT NICOLE ON ALWAYS BEING SO HELPFUL AND COMPASSIONATE EVERY TIME I CALL. I have been to Dr. Liang many times here in Sarasota. He has worked on everything from my digestion, to respiratory weakness and malaise, to the meniscus on my knee when I arrived at his office on crutches. With a few in-depth sessions, he saved me from having to have surgery on my knee! He is such a fine acupuncture master practitioner. Every time I have seen him, I have come away healed, no matter the ailment. As he's told me many times, "Backs are my speciality!" He helped a friend with lifelong chronic back problems and trouble walking in only 3 sessions. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is kind, patient and so accomplished! He will only treat you as long as he deems necessary and is very honest about this.

My name is Joyce, I first saw Dr Liang for what I was told was bursitis. I had severe pain running down the front of my legs only when I would lay down. I could not lay down on either side without extreme discomfort. After my first consultation, Dr Liang diagnosed the stenosis of the spine and sciatica. I have been doing acupuncture for over 16 years with much success. Besides the stenosis and sciatica I have arthritis, bone on bone in some places. Acupuncture has made my life very manageable. I would highly recommend this form of treatment to anyone. Since my treatment for stenosis and sciatica, I feel really really good. After the first treatment I could comfortably lay on either side without discomfort. Dr Liang and Jes Dwyer were very compassionate and very thorough with my treatments, I couldn't have asked for anything better. They treat the whole body, whatever is going on. I cannot say enough about acupuncture, I should be a poster child for them. Besides Dr Liang and Jes Dwyer … have the best bedside manner ever!!! I would also like to comment on Nicole who is extremely efficient and friendly whenever I come for a treatment. Dr Liang and his staff have exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Liang for all you have done for me I feel amazing!!!

Went to Dr. Shan Liang about one year after my accident. Went to a chiropractor and they helped but not all the way. It has been 10 months since I needed him. I had to go back recently because I injured myself starting my jogging routine again. And after four sessions I am back to being happy and healthy again. Aiming for my first 5K! Thank you Dr Liang for letting me live life again!

After the second visit, I could hardly move my hip. More harm was done than good. The guy is a great salesman---but can make your pain far worse!

Can't say enough about Dr. Liang and his staff. My life has certainly been changed for the better thanks to him.
