Dr. Shana Esther Weiss, MD

This practice provides the unique medical care I thought was no longer available in today's system. I was sick and not getting anywhere in a hospital managed practice. The Doctor, nurse practitioner, nurses, and office staff all have an interest in making you better! They follow through on your tests and call you back. I have my health back because Dr. Weiss did not give up on me and was willing to take the time to figure out how to help me.

I never do this but after holding forever today, they finally come back on the line. There wasn’t time available today and she asked what was wrong. I began to tell her and when I finished, she never heard because she was doing something else. She asked to repeat and I said no thank you I’ll call somewhere else, and she hung up. Completely unprofessional.

Dr. Weiss is the most compassionate, kind and loving doctor I have ever gone to.

I have been seeing Dr. Weiss for over 5 years and have been very pleased with her skills as a physician. She is a great doctor. She even remembers personal details from past visits that were mentioned in passing. I am very happy with my Doctor and highly recommend her!

I called to schedule an appointmen with Dr. Weiss. I arrived at 12:35 which was 5 minutes after my appointment time to find I was with a different doctor and was told that doctor didn't have enough time to see me after I waited in the lobby for an additional 5 minutes. I scheduled a fu appt with Dr. Weiss for a gyne/physical. The office called me to see if I could come in earlier on my scheduled day. I accomodated that request. I walked in and felt rushed. She asked me what I was there for? Well, shouldn't you know that? I was there for a gyne appt and she said she didn't have enough time for that. Was asked 2 or 3 questions about my general health and felt pushed out the door because it was an observed holiday and I could tell they all wanted to get out of there. After 2 appointments I didn't get my gyne exam. So anyway, it seems they like to schedule you for multiple visits that could be accomplished in one (each visit took 5 minutes in the exam room tops). I opted to see… a different doctor.

I have been with Dr. Weiss, since she got out of her internship. 12 Years now.I followed her from her first position in Highland Park, IL. I go there my two girls see her, and my husband has been there. I hope I never have to switch!Dr. Wiess is very caring! Her staff is very conciderate and call with any concerns.

Professional and always courteous practice. Concerned physician and friendly staff. I have been a patient with this practice for 7 years and have had some very serious medical conditions. Dr. Weiss has taken appropriate steps to get specialists involved when out of her scope of expertize and then followed me during the recovery process. I was initially recommened by a friend and have since made recommendations as well.

I have been surprised to find out how hard it is to find good, courteous, and helpful doctors. I had been going to Dr Weiss for 7 years or so and now living in CA have had difficulties finding doctors that I feel good about, tried out 3 OB-Gyn's so far no Internist yet. I still go see Dr Weiss for my physicals when back in town. I am dreading my search here. Don't think I'll find anyone like her.
