Dr. Shane Jacob Kibbe, MD

I work for UPS and my job involves a lot of walking sometimes for 12 hours. I have developed arthritis in my knee and can hardly walk anymore. Kibbe really did nothing at all to help me. He just strung out my visits. He gave me worthless medicine and had me go to physical therapy which just made my knee worse. After wasting several months of my time, he said he could not treat me and now I'm at UofL Kibbe is truly the most worthless doctor I have ever been to. Not only is he incompetent, he also has a horrible personality (bed side manor). To whomever is reading this, do yourself a favor and stay away from him.

Had to have another Orthopedic Surgeon to fix the problems from Dr Kibbes failed Rotator Cuff surgery to my shoulder initially. Neither Kibbe or his office manager showed any concern or made any effort to address the issues of the unsuccessful surgery Kibbe performed. Home recovering from my 2nd Rotator Cuff surgery on Dec 7th that was unable to fix the damage from the first surgery done by Dr Shane Kibbe. I would not recommend Dr Shane Kibbe based on my own negative experience.

Went to him a couple years ago for an elbow injury. I consistently felt rushed during appointments, his staff is INCREDIBLY rude about 25% of the time. Dr Kibbe did surgery on the elbow and failed to properly explain what to expect out of surgery. I was told that I'd be "back to normal activity" within a few days of surgery and did say anything about needing physical therapy post op. Well, I didn't realize flossing my teeth or scratching my nose was not considered "normal activity". It took over a month before I was able to easily touch my face after surgery. When I had a follow up appointment with him at the Jeffersonville office I was in a shared room for the appointment. At this appointment when I showed him how small my range of motion was he seemed surprised and I had to insist on physical therapy. Skip this entire practice, the staff isn't much better. They have 1 or 2 decent staff employees, the others are rude and some are borderline hostile.
